Tier 1 [T1]
SUMMERY: These rules, generally being called T1ROE which stands for T1 Rules of Engagement, are to be used as a guideline for those who do not yet know how to t1 or those wishing to increase their t1'ing ability. I shall try to keep them simple and if any questions are wishing an answer then talk with some of your fellow Roleplayers on it. Remember, these are general guidelines. Some may follow different rules.

T 1 General Regulations: Here is a short list of rules that I do not consider guidelines. Please obey and defend them as you would your honor.
1. T1 is turn based and you must be patient while your slower opponent posts his action.
2. Chatting excessively, or ignoring the action on part of your opponent during a fight or spar nullifies your move giving your fighting partner the opportunity to create another t1statement.
3. You cannot attack someone for no reason; if you are wishing to spar with them then you must ascertain their permission. The only time you may attack without prior notification is it if is part of an RP you are currently in which one or both of the characters has a reason to fight.
4. Being creative is good, but don't get carried away. Try to perform super moves less frequently and keep the fight intense but not so heated. Keeping yourself bound to the abilities your character can rationally have is a sign of good t1.
5. Try to match yourself to your opponent so the fight is more interesting. If you find the fight lasting forever, do not attempt a quick finish; you can always continue it later.
6. Notation on sparring: This is the only time god modes come into affect, for a spar in t1 is considered a simulation and used only to stretch your characters abilities. Although almost anything goes, keep things fair as always.
7. Up to six actions may take place in a T1 statement. In Citadel only one action per line is allowed.
Example 1:
*Executes a swift backwards flip my body uplifted by the strength of my legs.(1) Beneath me I feel the fire ball pass with the flames radiating enough heat for me to know it is there, (2) and then I hear it slam into a wall becoming as naught. (3) My body then lands upon the ground in the position of a crouch (4) that I convert into a lunge towards my enemy, he being a dozen feet away (5) My sword then swings upwards toward his throat in a powerful arc. (6)*
Example 2:
*My body thrown forward to the right of my foe in a curl, my sword laying between my knees and my belly with the blade jutting to the left, do I execute this action my blade spinning with me in the air moving closer to my enemies chest.* ( Bad example, but I was tired. )

General Combat: T1 may be defined as a written statement that creates a word picture as best as possible. The idea is to convey an all inclusive action sequence. Although t1 actions may be short, it is suggested that they be a minimum of forty words to thus enable the writer to excel at a creative response. Now for the nitty-gritty.
ATTACKS: A t1 assault or attack must be directed at an individual, or multiple individuals depending on the move and situation, in either a direct or indirect manner. If attacking in a direct manner then the move requires two t1 statements. Example:
Circ Aloriath
}{ Rushing over to the enemy with great speed circ flings forth his hands, which have formed upon them, twin balls of fire and ejects them in the direction of Chino. The balls soar threw the air and to his chest with dazzling speed as Circ continues his onward rush. A whining sound is heard due to the speed of their movement as they break the sound barrier ... apparently signaling the doom of Chino. }{
Chino Perriece
-=Side stepping almost methodically to the right Chino notes the balls grossly miss him and swinging his left hand down generates a pathway of ice which the oncoming form of Circ to far into the maddening rush cannot evade. However, Chino's right hand swings behind him as he draws forth his sword and prepares to leap upon Circ as soon as he stumbles.=-
Circ Aloriath
}{ The momentum of Circ's rush after having been relieved of the fireballs brings him in a hover above the ground barely missing the icy path, a small bit of steam arising between his feet and the ground due to the closeness of the move. Swinging around while continuing this flight he draws forth his own blade and notes that the fireballs exploded just as Chino bounced to the side, the blast although missing sending him in a stumble down upon his own sword. }{
Note if you will how Circ turned the miss into a hit, by using the same move. This may be considered valid as well as having Chino fall upon his sword. Circ stated neither injury as a cause of this fall nor any impact, thereby making is a valid move. Also note Chino's clever use of the phrase "cannot evade" and yet Circ was able to evade. Note that no move, however well phrase is not unblockable. There are special situations called Indirect Attacks that can be performed in one move. These shall be elaborated on later. Also note how Circ uses a move made in the past to affect his current one This is called working within the moves. The fireballs exploding are also a form of this; Chino having claimed to move away however did not acknowledge them soaring off into the distance behind him thus enabling Circ to do that.
DODGES: A successful dodge or evasion made in t1 must cover every aspect of the move, as noted above, so that it may not come back to haunt you. An example given below will show a more successful dodge on the part of Chino.
Chino Perriece
-=Stepping easily to the right as the orbs of fire soar by him, Chino not even feeling their heat the miss was so gross, hears an explosion in the distance noting they have been dealt with. While performing this motion his left hand swings down creating a bulwark of ice which Circ must collide with and his right draws forth his saber as he spins in his motion to the right now behind Circ ready to penetrate into Circ's back upon his rivals collision with the icy wall.=-
Note how that move was pretty much all-inclusive, for no one can claim perfection. Chino masterfully dealt with the fireball attack as he destroyed them and also took away the burn factor. The bulwark created is not so easily dodged as the path made before hand. Circ cannot stop on a dime at that speed that is declaring god ability, which is invalid t1. Watch how Circ deals with this move coming out unharmed.
Circ Aloriath
}{ Seeing the wall begin to arise Circ adds momentum to his already mind boggling speed and raising slightly off the ground passes over it before the wall is completely formed the momentum drawing Chino after him and slamming him against the wall. Circ spins around finally having stopped a good distance away and lands lightly upon the ground just in time to see Chino's momentarily coming collision with his own creation. }{
Although some may consider this cheating I do not. Did I state that he hurt himself becoming badly mangled upon the weapon of his own destruction? No. I caused no injury on his part I merely stated that he must impact the wall. Chino doesn't need to get hurt; after all he could throw up his hands and have a soft impact. Remember, everything can be countered in t1 and if you are smart enough anything can be done to any move done to you. Observe this example of moving within the move. (This is something that bad rpers who think they are god object too.) Although Chino was forming the wall and most would assume that Circ had to hit it, Circ moved within the move of Chino, on the assumption that the wall must have taken time to be built as nothing is truly instantaneous, and passed over it before its completion. You cannot do this in any situation, after all ... t1's main rule is to follow a logical battle sequence. Now see Chino's response to Circ's counter.
Chino Perriece
-=Chino raises his hands before him moments before the contact and upon touching the wall it shatters into thousands of particles, which rush at Circ's now still frame. The glass shards spread in a half orb of a fifty-foot diameter. His hands falling to his side Chino looks on through the cloud of ice seeing Circ frantically trying to escape. While an evil and haughty laugh echoes forth from Chino's lips shattering the air as his hands did the ice.=-
Note how Chino used that to his advantage. However, there is one flaw in this attack. He is assuming that Circ is frantically trying to evade. That however might not be the case and in battle one should never be frantic. Another rule of t1 NEVER ASSUME someone else's position, feelings, fears, future reactions, etc. Does this nullify the move? Sadly for Circ it does not. It merely shows bad t1 on Chino's part and disrespect for the other player's ability.
I believe this adequately concludes the General Combat rules. In depth shall be described below in further detail once the page is updated.

Unblock able Moves:
• Each character is allowed to have an unblockable move. If they wish they may have several moves of such nature. If they have a character page then these moves should be stated upon it. ( Note-2 )
• Every character in a fight may only use one of their unblockable moves once.
• More than one unblockable move cannot be made upon a character at the same time. If this is done, both moves will be considered void. This applies to fights of spars with three or more combatants.
• You must accept an unblockable move as such, and handle it as gracefully as possible.
• If someone's unblockable move is unacceptable for t1 standards, then you may dodge it.
• Every unblockable move must be prepped. This is to allow the opponent a chance to prevent the move from occurring. If they manage to stop the prep then you may reinitiate the move at a later time in the battle.
• Unblockable moves are not intended to be lethal, but to severally cripple the opponent draining a maximum of 60% of their energies.
• If someone has taken up to five hits in a t1 battle, then a unblockable move may be used as a finisher.
• If used as a finisher then an unblockable move must have four statements in it. The prep statement, a statement to make the opponent unable to dodge, the actual attack and finally the deathblow.
• Each unblockable move must have a minimum of two statements in it. A severally damaging one should contain three.
Here is an example of an unblockable move. The first three moves are used as a normal attack as an unblockable move. The final motion is a deathblow.
Bi-Se I Mo Shuil:
:: Looking upon the enemy with deadly malice does Bi-Se begin playing upon his lute. White fingers touching the silvery strings in a majestic flight. A mist begins to permeate from the ground all around his enemy, the mist containing a bright silvery light as the moon in the darkest hour of night. The mist continues to grow more full and begins blinding all those around with its powerful sheen and color. ::
Bi-Se I Mo Shuil:
:: Continuing to play upon his lute Bi-Se notes the extra wind in the area. Then, looking up to his foe, he observes the mist around him explode into a cylindrical cage around him reaching high into the sky. From inside around every limb he, the victim, finds himself ensnared by chains of silver light of great magical proportion. The chains come tight about his limbs and he begins to float from the now terrible wind spiraling inside the cylinder. ::
Bi-Se I Mo Shuil:
:: The terrible winds bring the enemy to crash against the sides of this tube in which he finds himself unable to escape from. Each time he touches the surface of these walls a knife like pain shoots into his heart and the limb that touches turns numb glistening with a coating of silver. Armor offers no protection this magical hell creeping through into the very depths of this now battered persons being. ::
Bi-Se I Mo Shuil:
:: Then, with a horrible suddeness does the cylinder of light shatter falling upon the enchained victem like a rain of glass the wind poudning it swifly ending his life. Bi-se approachs the now still area and picking up a glowing red peice of glass puts it into the purse upon his kilt having capurtured the soul of his victem. With that does Bi-se collapse upon the ground exausted from this days work. ::
This isn't a perfect example, but likely what someone would come up with in the midst of a battle. Please, use if for review only. Another extremely item to note: he took damage; he collapsed from the utter exhaustion of his move. It took a lot out of him. Remember, everything that you do takes a toll upon your energies.
