Arden is a forest has been around for centuries. Huge beautiful trees sprout from the ground everywhere while small scrub bushes dot the land here and there. Vines and moss hang from the trees while rivers flow downhill into huge lakes. Several anime live in this forest. They range from the smallest insects and animals to big predators like ferocious wolves and powerful big cats. Yet something was different about this forest. Something else lived in these woods that could be considered a fairytale creature, something dark and unearthly yet pure and magical.

Humans have called this place mystical and at the same time dangerous. There have been several reports by humans who have seen dark shadowy figures standing at the edge of the woods watching them with interest. The shadows would always have dark green eyes that would seam to glow in the dark. Some report of hearing low whispering from the figures and watch them magically disappear. No sane human would dare enter the woods because of these reports.

From inside the woods two strong Elf clans excised. The pure clan, “Nowles”, and the evil clan “Lin”. The Lin clan was contently sucking the pure life energy of the forest away to feed an unsatisfied hunger for power. They would kill innocent trees and animals while at the same time scorching the land and abusing nature. The Nowles saw this as an wrong act. They confronted the Lin clan which would begin the mark of a huge war.

The Nowels's have been fighting the Lin clan for several generations. The Nowles clan respected the forest. They loved it very much and could feel it's pain when the Lin treated it so horribly.
Thus 5 generations would go by. The Nowles win eventually putting an stop to the Lin. A long period of peace would take over the forest. Humans would return walking the several trails and camping. Doing humans like acts. The Nowels clan would watch the humans mildly interested and would heal the forest after the humans would leave.

Little did the Nowles clan know that from deep with in one of the several caves the forest possessed the Lin clan was rebuilding. Soon the Nowels peace ended when they found the body of a human boy and the mark of the Lin clan in the boys blood against a tree. This out raged the Nowels and scared off several humans once again. This marked yet another war in the Nowels and Lin clans history. This time though the Nowels would plan to take the Lin out for good. This is were out story starts, preparing for yet another battle.

As you would walk into The Arden forest you automatically ca tell how the forest was divided with powers. On the left several of the tree's would look unhealthy, dead leaves and bushes would litter the ground while fallen while the stench of decay would drift over the ground. A large black cave is located deep in the middle of the decaying section of the woods. Inside the cave would be several rooms carved out. The first room to the left would hold several caged animals for any Lin Elf that was tempted for the need of life energy. The other rooms were mainly beds or cells were they would keep captive Nowels held at. From the other side of the forest trees would look extremely healthy. Green plants would flourish everywhere showing good healthy signs. From with in the middle of this part of the forest a huge tree would be spotted. It's roots so large that one could slip under them into an underground cave. In this caver were several rooms maid of earth. Healthy roots held the high ceiling in place. Animals would run around freely while hammocks make of grass and vines hung from the roof. Tables full of fresh fruits and jars of water dotted the wall here and there.

Rules

I have only a few rules for this Rp.

1. NO cybering. I don't mind romance.... but please, please,please no cybering.
2. NO auto hitting.
3. Keep decent language. Only use curse words in extream emotion
4. Have fun =]

Just as the sun was setting Alena would yawn lightly waking up from a deep sleep. Her electric green eyes would look weary, almost peaceful. She would slowly sit up in her Hammock. She would glance down fixing her black undershirt as she would flip in the hammock landing on her feet. She would then proceed to getting dressed in her deer hide shirt and pants. She would grab her long elegant bow from below her hammock and a pooch of 7 arrows. She would then tie her long brown hair back into a pony tail. Her elf like ears jetting out to the sides of her head. She would grin her usual cocky grin as she would crawl out of the “Spirit Tree” As the Nowles called it. She would bask in the moonlight letting it caress her body as she would silently begin to climb the huge tree that was her home. She would draw her bow and an arrow for tonight she was on guard duty. To keep any Lin from entering her peoples sacred home.

Matilda skipped happyly through the woods kicking up some of the leaves as her feet swung up from the ground.She looked for the perfect veiw if it even existed so she would be able to sketch it down in her drawing book and keeping it as a memory,but untill then she looked around admireing all the tree and flowers not knowing that these words were controlled or ruled by anywon snice she never herd of it.

From up in the tree Alena aimes her arrow at the figure moving in the distance. "Lin...?" She would breath under her breath. Her brown hair waves in the air as wind begins to pick up. Alena bites her lip unsure of her target. She would let the strain off the bow repocketing the arrow and attaching the bow to her back as she would jump from branch to branch in the trees aproching the figure. She would stop a few yards away to find who she thought was a human. She would grin watching her with mild intrest.

Matilda would nearly fall being starled at the figure due to the distrotion of sight her mask made and still on the ground sitting up and rubbing the glass and she would bring the figure into contrast now seieng it was just a person she stood up blanceing off a tree and brushed the leaves and dirt of her skirt and tights. "Ah...sorry you scared me there.Stuipd mask i can barley see a darn thing" shed grumble tryeding to adjust the lenses.

Alena chuckles lightly wondering why the human wore a mask. "I should be sorry human... I startled you.." Alena english was not very well so it sounded fragmented, her elfish dialect could be heard in her voice. She would jump from the tree laning on her feet. Her long elf like ears twitching

"Nah its fine,it happens often with me...Why are you out here?" Matilda asked as she admired her dress and saw her ears twicthed thinking that she was an elf or somewon who did a roleplay war in the woods somewhere and was looking for the other players.

She would grin as she would lean back giving a look as if she knew something the girl did not. "I can not tell you human." she smiles sitting down in the grass. The grass seams to grow around her creating a bed. THe grass seamed to almost glow with energy. Only trained humans would beable to see this.

[PAIN]

Matilda watched the grass grow from nowhere surounding the girls body.Matilda was astoined by the simple things and dident need much to be happy and she walekd over to the grass,crouching down and started to poke at it as if it were an actull person but being gentell."Hey...that was cool how did you do that?" She asked as her eyes filled with wonder under her mask and not careing if she could only see the grass in red she knew how real grass looked and would allways keep those images would stay with her for as long as her memory allowed it to and she had a sudden relization that she dident know the girls name. "Oh and by the way im Matilda." She held out her hand for a handshake hopeing the girl would return it.

She grins as the grass would seam to grow around Matilda's finger. The would then begin to grow around her entire body. " magic.." She awnsers her question. She then roles over of her belly on the grass. Her vivid brown eyes glance up at Matilda. "My name is Alena " She would grin. "It's the forests blessing to meet you." Alena would use her former language.

She took her hand back seeing that she proboly dident know about handshakes and sat on the grass picking a small blade form the ground and holding it running her hand aginst the smooth surface or it. "I see....Is there anymore people around here or is it just you?" She asked again wanting to know as much about the forest as she could to try to find out why it was in such a tattered state.

I am the only one in my clan for now." She frowns slightly. She would watch Matilda pick the blade of grass. She would feel the plants pain as the living energy of the plant leaves. She would reach out to grab the blade of grass from Matilda. If there hands were to meet Matilda would feel a powerful blast of energy.

[PAIN]

Matilda saw her reaching for the grass and as she touched her skin she felt the wave of energy pulseate through her body and she started laughing as it pulsed through her nerves and she would hold her body trying to restrain herself from moveing to much as she giggled uncontrolably and finnaly seased and say her holding the grass as she relised what she did and started to feel sad for the grass "Darn i hurt it dident I...." she started to feel bad and placed her hand sin her lap.

Placeing the peice of grass on the ground it would turn a dark brown suddenly decaying becoming part of the earth again. " It is fine. For all dead things contribute back." She would say then looking up wondering why she had giggled so much. She would reach back untieing her long brown hair letting it drap over her shoulders and onto the ground.

[PAIN]

"I geuss..." she plunderd still feeling bad about how she caused the grass pain "But some things we can never get back..." she looked up and saw her long hair and adimireing it wondering how she keep it so shiny "You have really pretty hair!"she blurted as she was now jelouse of her dull semi-shiny purple hair that she took care of with her life and keep up with makeing it unbeliveably soft and smooth.As she wasthinking about dull things she looked at the burned,gray,dry,depressing side of the woods that upset her so.And a worried expression came about her face under her mask.

Alena nids lightly understanding how some things never came back."thank you.." She woudl run her fingers threw her hair subcocousily. She would then direct her eyes to the depesing side of the forst. "Do not go there human.. bad things away.." Her voice would grow serious as she would take her bow off setting it in the grass.

[PAIN]

"I never would go there anyway....but...why not?Its not like I could could get hurt" she looked back at Alena her voice muffled under her mask but still able to make out clearly.She could hear her voice tense up and looked back at the dark side of the forest knowing that somthing dangeruos lerked that way."Have you ever been over there?" she said as it had to be in a good condition befor it got like that.

She nods lightly. "I have been there several time... only death learks there... and yes... you can get hurt human... tis not a place for a creature like you." She would try to relax. A light smile falling over her pale lips again.

[PAIN]

"Not really..." She would start to explain to her her condition "I cant be hurt much because...well its kidna hard to explain..." Matilda would start to become self conchense and grab her right arm with her left feeling uncomfrtable telling her secert to strangers knowing it would leak and shed probly be drived out of town again.

Alena would smile. "ah I understand human.." Sheroles over in the grass afain. Behind her roses srout up surrounding her body. She would hum a small turn not forcing Matilda to tell her about her strangness

[PAIN]

She would look at her confused but of corse it was hidden under her mask. "How do you understand?Nowon understands...well...expect the people from where i come from.." she would start to feel depressed from leaveing all her freinds back in death city that she made and cared about but she had to for the sake of finding her reletive."But ill see them in notime!So its all fine!" she cheerd up knowing that shed see them again one day she dident know for how long,or when but she knew that she would.

She would chuckle lightly. "Human I understand because I myself have several secrets I wish not to share." The roses around her would grow moving onver to matilda wrapping around her to erase her negative thoughts that she could feel radeating off of matilda.

[PAIN]

"We all have secerts that we want to keep....But i tend not to have secerts snice i dont like hideing things from people...I dont liek to keep things hidden from the ones i love" She smiled from behinde her mask and petting the petels of the roses that rose form the ground.

"I understand... this forest... it's my friend... i know all of it's secrets as it knows mine."She would grgin slowly getting up nociving something in the distance. A song presents enters the area as she grabs her bow and an arrow standing up. A male creature that looked much like her smirked as he would put his hand aginst a tree killing it. She would growl fireing an arrow off. HTe man would run. "come we are not safe here hu

Matilda grumbled seeing as how she had to leave "Its ok im fine here its not like theyll be able to hurt me" Shr smiled up at Alean even through it couldent be seen through her mask,she still tried useing her presance makieng it feel joyfull as she allways did in any situation. "Do you even think arrows will work on them if there so "dangerous" anyway?" she questioned at her careing for her safety even though she seemed pretty stronge.

She would smirk. "These are special... if I were to peircing him with it he would die in a matter of seconds.." Besides my home is a much more beautiful place... i beleive you will enjoy it."Sje would backtrack.

[PAIN]

"Mk" She agred and stood up allmost falling but catching her ballance as she started to strech or her arms and back walking slowly along with Alean cracking her shoulders and neck. "Lead the way" she said lazily as she cracked her shoulders feeling nice to feel lose after sitting for so long.

She would walk quickly threw the forest as if it was nothing. Not once did she trip over a branch. AS they would walk they would arive at a huge tree. She would then slip into her home from one of the several holes the roots produced to an underground covern.

[PAIN]

Matilda saw Alean starting to go out of sight so she hurried along untill she meet the large tree and made a little camera with her fingers "Click" she joked takeing a mental picture to rember the tree and all its gloery.She followed Alean inside one of the roots hesitateing about spider webs snice she was terified to death of them and couldent see inside very well. "Ok wich way am i going..."She stumbled around trying to keep up with ALean the best she could.

To your left.." She would call out as she would hang her bow alinst the wall and set the arrows down she would then jump into her hamooke looking

"Ok..." She would call back and tryed adjusting the lenses on her mask trying to see better and she was sucseesfull and finally was able to see proporly...sort of."Cool place" She commented holding her hands behinde her and sat on a bench and looked over at Alean. "So what now?"

Well", she would grin "im sure you have questions... I beleive I can trust you human with this forests secrets." She would mumble as a small pain would shoot threw her spine. The forest telling her it was wrong to revel the secrets to a human, but she ignored it.

[PAIN]

Matilda could she the pain that happened through her through the "special" lenses she coukd see through the mask even though there a pain in the ass they gave her some sense then usual.she could see 3 ways snice it had 3 eyes,they were red because when she saw through the red she would able to see the slightest change in a persons aura or soul wavelength.And matilda asused snice the incidnet with the grass,the magicly growing roses,and the "magic" stuff shed told her she could tell she was one with the forest. "Heh the old woods being stingy about me?" shed giggle after her statment as evrywon and everything has trust issues,she did as first aswell when she moved to death city but got over them quickly seeing as there was nothing to fear.

She would glance at matilda suprised for she had thought that this human had not noticed. "Just slightly... you havent proven yourself to this forest yet so it thinks og you as a stanger.." She would sick as she would swing in her hammoke back and forth. She would then glance at her mask. " Why do you wear it... if it's such a pain.." She owuld mumble feeling her negative energy about it..

[PAIN]

Matilda scratched the back of her head giggleing alittle as she moved her index finger on the curves of the twisted smile that laid on the mask."Ah...well i have a condition....were i have to breath through a resperator..and well so i built it into the inside of this mask so i...uh wouldent have to carry a bunch of medical stuff around.." she explained not really knowing how to say it any better and dident want to be much of a burden to Alean snice she was such a nice person.

She nods. "A resperator..?" She would ask. Never once in her life has she heard of such a word. Being an elf really kept her from modern technologies and such/. She would stand up flipping out of the hammoke landing on her feet as she would walk over to Matilda as she would touch her mask feeling the texture of it.

[PAIN]

"A resperator helps a person breath better if they have a certain condition..and i have to breath out of one all the time snice mine is very critical.." Matilda watched her touch her mask makeing sure she wouldent break anything on it.Her mask was cold,as it allways was snice it took her normal carbon that she breathed and turned in into cool crip clean air due to her lung cancer,if she breathed regular she it would only worsen.

She would nod. "IF you are sick I bet nature has an awnser..." She mumbles as she places her hand over Matilda's heart feeling her heart beat. " I can hear your heart.. it beats weaker... then most humans.' She would mumble as if she was a small child trying to understand something.

[PAIN]

Matilda would hold her hand takieng it off her cheast "Ah no its fine..its not that much of an inconvenoice anymore then it used to be" Matilda knew she was pushing her away and probly makeing ehr suspicous,she knew she was weak but it gave her a reason to make herself stronger and fight the cancer,if it ever happened she knew her life would be complete and she would never have any regrets after that.and she tryed to change to change the subject to somthing more importantly hoppeing it would work."Ah um do you think its safe to go back outside now?"

She would nod standing up grabbing her bow and arrows as she would climb back up threw the hole outside. She would jump up into the huge tree hanging upsidedown by a branch, "It's safe.." She would call out. Her ears twitchiing as she would wiggle them to get the weird feeling of twitchingness to go away

"WOOH"she would blurt in exitment of being able to go back outside and not haveing to be in a dark room and she could climb up and out the hole and onto the branch and lower herself down onto the ground safely and start to strech out again and look around double checking if she saw anything. "Hm..." she mumbled in confusion "Alean what would happen if they hurt you?Would you die to there touch like the trees?"

Alean would frown. " they feed off of life sources draining them. They will not try to attack me this way for I can do the same back. They try to kill me threw the forest... that's why they scare the land..." She would almost growl the last part out. Her brown eyes growing a sudden white color bu then disapearing.,

[PAIN]

"I see..." Matilda said blankly,she understood how she felt.Medusa treated her this way as a child,but she had long gotten over all the bad memories and torment and replaced them with good memories. "So they destroy was precious to you trying to make you break down..."

"No i mean my soul ic connected to this forest... if tehy kill the forest the Nowle clan will die out... " She would touch the tree trunk feeling its life source. She would smile lightly letting it's life source enter her only taking alittle as to not likk the tree. "We are the same race of elves... we just use our powers diffrently.

[PAIN]

"Have you ever meet there queen?or king?" She looked up at her and asked becomeing very curious of this "lin" clan and knowing that she qould be able to take them on and win but Alean wouldent allow it.

NO I have not... nor do i ever wish to meet them.." She would frowwn. "I am the leader of the nowle clan... " shw would mumble. lightly. "I lack men and wemo n to fight aginst them so i protect what I can." She sighs.

[PAIN]

MAtilda thought for awhile but finnaly came up with an idea. "You could use me!" She smiled up at her through her mask knowing simple elfs wouldent be able to destroy her or even penatreate her in anyway. "My condition keeps me from getting hurt,so they cant even touch me."

She nods lightly. "very well human... but the Lin are unforgiving and will kill you in a instent if they can... They crave your life source." She would grin lightly still hanging up side down. Suprisingly her face bib not turn red from the blood that should of been rushing to her forhead.

[PAIN]

"I got it" she said and put her hands behinde her back and looking up to Alean. "Seeya" She called out happliy and started to skip out to the dark gray side of the forest without a care in the world,she skiped humming to herself testing to see how far she would be able to get befor the goonies would pop out.

matilda stop" She yels as she would get up rnning quickly twords her into the ruined part of the forest. A huge blast of pain would hit her as she could feel the forests pain. THe deeper she entered the weeker she became. "Come back.." She would call as she would finally fall to her knees. The pain of the forest to much
